All Saints Parish - Fitzroy, Melbourne.
“ We were recommended Dan by a friend. From our initial contact with Dan he was consistently professional, responsive and ultra-friendly. We were delighted when, at our initial meeting, Dan spent over an hour getting to know us, our story and getting to the bottom of what we wanted from the day and how he could provide it.
When we met Dan a week ahead of the wedding, we were blown away by the thought Dan had given to all the minute details- for example, scoping out the church/ surrounding streets/ venue at the exact time we would be there the following week- to ensure he was prepared for beautiful, but weak and fading, autumn light. Even more heartening was Dan’s genuine excitement for us and this very big occasion we were so excited to experience.
On the day, Dan laughed and joked with us, our friends and our families, putting us completely at ease and adding to the fun of the day. It is obvious, in the shots that he captured, that Dan truly grasped “us” and our friends, family and our hopes for the day - we feel all pictures fully capture our day.
We wanted to capture every element of the day for posterity, but at the same time weren’t really interested in too much staging. Dan expertly managed to capture all the big events and all the minor (but sentimental!) details without disrupting the day or placing unnecessary work/requirements on us, our families or the bridal party. Dan thinks on his feet, understands his equipment fully and is super creative. Dan’s experience in music/ event photography is really reflected in his work in that it’s candid, unobtrusive, dynamic and captures moments beautifully.
Dan, we can’t thank you enough for capturing our happiness on our wedding day- we are so lucky to have these beautiful shots to reminisce on the love, joy and laughter that surrounded us on our day. We would recommend you to anyone.
Many, many thanks- Bonnie and Jimmy O’Grady. “
